These Terms of Service govern your use of LocalQuote AI, operated by Elevate8 Consultants ("LocalQuote AI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using LocalQuote AI or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.
LocalQuote AI provides informational tools intended to help homeowners and other users understand potential project costs, prepare for contractor discussions, and, where available, request contractor matching assistance.
Services may include:
LocalQuote AI estimates are AI-generated informational planning estimates. They are not contractor quotes, bids, appraisals, professional inspections, engineering opinions, or guarantees of actual project cost.
Actual costs may differ substantially because of location, labor rates, materials, property conditions, access, permits, project scope, contractor availability, market conditions, and other factors.
You should obtain written estimates directly from contractors and independently verify insurance, credentials, references, licensing requirements where applicable, permits where applicable, scope, pricing, warranties, and contract terms before authorizing work.
The Homeowner Pro Full Estimate provides an expanded AI-generated planning report based on information supplied by the customer. Purchasing the report does not guarantee that actual contractor pricing will fall within the generated estimate range.
The Contractor Match service provides enhanced project-preparation and contractor-matching assistance when participating providers are available.
Purchasing Contractor Match does not guarantee contractor availability, matching, response, acceptance, pricing, scheduling, performance, or project completion.
LocalQuote AI is not a party to any agreement subsequently made between you and a contractor or service provider unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
You are responsible for evaluating a contractor before hiring them and for agreeing directly with the contractor regarding scope, pricing, payment, scheduling, insurance, credentials, licensing, permits, warranties, and all other project terms.
You agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate when requesting estimates or contractor matching. Estimate quality may be affected by incomplete or inaccurate project information.
When you submit a Contractor Match request and provide the requested consent, you authorize LocalQuote AI to use the information you provide to assist with the project request and, when matching is available, share relevant project and contact information with potential service providers so they may contact you regarding the project.
Prices displayed at the time of purchase apply to the selected service unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
Any applicable refund, cancellation, or dispute request will be evaluated according to the terms presented at purchase, applicable payment-provider procedures, and applicable law.
You may not use LocalQuote AI to:
LocalQuote AI relies on third-party services for functions that may include hosting, artificial intelligence, payment processing, email, and other operational services.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies.
A contractor's participation in a matching process does not by itself constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by LocalQuote AI. Users remain responsible for independently evaluating providers.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update features of LocalQuote AI. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LocalQuote AI and Elevate8 Consultants are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on an AI-generated estimate, decisions made regarding a contractor, contractor acts or omissions, differences between estimated and actual project costs, or interruptions involving third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We may update these Terms as LocalQuote AI changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
